Course Description
The Family and Friends program is intended for people with limited or no medical training who want to learn more about CPR and first aid.

Intended Audience: Anyone interested in Learning about CPR and for first aid may take this program. Students will receive a program participation card

Warren Fall Festival 2007

The Warren Volunteer Fire Company will hold it’s 46th Annual Fall Festival on October 6th and 7th at the Warren Woods town recreation area on Brick School Road off Route 45, follow the signs from Route 202. The country extravaganza will take place from 10am to dusk each day, rain or shine. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the fall foliage in the Northwest Hills as well as some traditional country fun and entertainment.

Saturday will feature a garden tractor pull, lumberjack competition and the Country Travelers, a country western band. The day will also feature the USA Martial Arts demonstration team.

Sunday will include Northernbound, a blue grass band, an antique tractor pull, a lumberjack exhibition and the Norwestones, Litchfield County’s own barbershop chorus. Both days will feature home-style apple pies, country pressed cider, pumpkins, and our famous open-pit charcoal roast beef sandwiches and many other mouth-watering delights. For the young at heart there will be a petting zoo, children’s carnival games, demonstrations by the Wamogo FFA, a children’s moonwalk (Bounce House) and fire truck rides. As always the Country Store will be open and many artisans and vendors will be on hand.

Admission is $4.00, children 12 and under will be admitted free. A 2-day pass is available for $6.00.

Second Annual Car & Truck Show

The Warren Volunteer Fire Co. will hold their Second Annual Car & Truck Show on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the Warren Woods on Brick School Road in Warren. Gates will open at 9:00 A.M. for entries. Cars must arrive before 11:30 A.M. to be judged. The entry fee is $5 and the show is open to all years, makes, and models. Trophies will be awarded. The Warren Volunteer Fire Company would like to remind the public that in the event of a disruption of phone service there is a 911 phone on the outside of the fire house. This phone is connected directly to Litchfield County Dispatch and will continue to work during phone service disruption.

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Warren Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., will be holding a Pancake Breakfast at the Warren Town Hall, Sackett Hill Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.

All you can eat: O.J., pancakes - plain or blueberry, sausage, coffee or tea.

Fire Company Pancake Breakfast, March 19

The Warren Volunteer Fire Company and Woman’s Auxiliary will again jointly host their Pancake Breakfast which begins on Sunday, March 19, 2006. It is held every third Sunday of each month from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. through June, with the last one on June 18, 2006. Because Easter is the third Sunday in April this year, the breakfast will be held the following Sunday, April 23, 2006. The cost is: Adults, $4.00; Children under 12, $2.00; under age three are free.
