Angevine Farm at 40 Angevine Road will hold their annual open house on Saturday November 10 and Sunday November 11 from 10 to 4.

On Saturday, there will be children’s craft tables, gingerbread decorating, theater pipe organ concerts throughout the day, free refreshments, games and more. Bring your hiking boots and a picnic lunch to share on Hemlock Hill, the most beautiful picnic area in Warren.

On Sunday, we will be having a free children’s book swap and book drive. If you’re tired of reading the same books to your kids, come trade them in for new ones. Our farm is filled with secret reading spots, so bring your lawn chair and reading glasses, and of course, a child to read to!

If you’d like to donate some of your old books too, we are making book baskets that will make a great holiday gift for a needy family. Baskets will be donated to local shelters and food banks. Please make sure that your donated books are in good condition.

We are also collecting baskets, only good condition please.

There will be a voter registration session on Tuesday October 30 from 9 AM to 8 PM at the Town Hall. After October 30 until November 5 at 12 Noon, those who turn 18 years old, become U.S. citizens or become new residents of Warren, may register by contacting the Registrar of Voters, Kathy Angevine at 868-7226 or the Town Clerk at 868-0090.

The Electors of the Town of Warren are hereby warned to meet at Town Hall, 7 Sackett Hill Rd., Warren, Connecticut on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 for the following purpose:

To cast their votes for First Selectman, Selectman, Town Treasurer, Board of Finance (vote for any two), Board of Assessment Appeals, Zoning Board of Appeals term beginning 2007, Zoning Board of Appeals term beginning 2008, and Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates (vote for any three).

Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling place is Town Hall, 7 Sackett Hill Rd., Warren, CT.

Optical scan voting machines will be used. The polls will open at six o’clock in the morning (6:00 a.m.) and will remain open until eight o’clock in the evening (8:00 p.m.).

Family and Friends CPR Course at Warren Volunteer Fire Company

Course Description
The Family and Friends program is intended for people with limited or no medical training who want to learn more about CPR and first aid.

Intended Audience: Anyone interested in Learning about CPR and for first aid may take this program. Students will receive a program participation card
