Warren Fall Festival 2007
The Warren Volunteer Fire Company will hold it’s 46th Annual Fall Festival on October 6th and 7th at the Warren Woods town recreation area on Brick School Road off Route 45, follow the signs from Route 202. The country extravaganza will take place from 10am to dusk each day, rain or shine. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the fall foliage in the Northwest Hills as well as some traditional country fun and entertainment.
Saturday will feature a garden tractor pull, lumberjack competition and the Country Travelers, a country western band. The day will also feature the USA Martial Arts demonstration team.
Sunday will include Northernbound, a blue grass band, an antique tractor pull, a lumberjack exhibition and the Norwestones, Litchfield County’s own barbershop chorus. Both days will feature home-style apple pies, country pressed cider, pumpkins, and our famous open-pit charcoal roast beef sandwiches and many other mouth-watering delights. For the young at heart there will be a petting zoo, children’s carnival games, demonstrations by the Wamogo FFA, a children’s moonwalk (Bounce House) and fire truck rides. As always the Country Store will be open and many artisans and vendors will be on hand.
Admission is $4.00, children 12 and under will be admitted free. A 2-day pass is available for $6.00.
