Supplemental Motor Vehicle Taxes
Wednesday, December 20th, 2006Marcia Schultz, Tax Collector, would like to remind Warren taxpayers that Supplemental Motor Vehicle taxes for vehicles newly registered between Oct. 2, 2005 and July 31, 2006 are due on Jan. 1, 2007. The last day to pay without interest will be Feb. 1, 2007. Payments postmarked or made after Feb. 1 will be subject to an interest charge of 1% per month from the due date with a minimum interest charge of $2.00. Payment is welcome at the tax office during the following hours: Mon. 9-1, Wed. & Thu. 10-4, or by mail addressed to Tax Collector, 7 Sackett Hill Rd., Warren, CT 06754.
