Warren Fall Festival, 2006

The Warren Volunteer Fire Company will hold it’s 45th Annual Fall Festival on October 7th and 8th at the Warren Woods town recreation area on Brick School Road off Route 45. The country extravaganza will take place from 10am to dusk each day. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the fall foliage in the Northwest Hills as well as some traditional country fun and entertainment.

Saturday will feature a garden tractor pull and a lumberjack competition. The day will also feature the USA Martial Arts demonstration team, and Northernbound, a blue grass band.

Sunday will include the Country Travelers, country and western band, an antique tractor pull, a lumberjack exhibition and the Norwestones, Litchfield County’s own barbershop chorus. Both days will feature home-style apple pies, country pressed cider, pumpkins, and our famous open-pit charcoal roast beef sandwiches and many other mouth-watering delights. For the young at heart there will be a petting zoo and demonstrations by the Wamogo FFA, a children’s moonwalk (Bounce House) and fire truck rides. The CT State Police will be on hand with the Convincer. As always the Country Store will be open and many artisans and vendors will be on hand.

Admission is $4.00, children 12 and under will be admitted free. A 2-day pass is available for $6.00.
