Literacy Classes in Warren

Literacy volunteers have been having classes in Warren since last fall. The classes are held at the Warren Public Library on Tuesday evening. Marylyn Hendricks and Lucy Averill are tutors. Presently they are teaching five Ecuadorians to read, write and speak English.

If anyone is interested in becoming a literacy volunteer or English student, please call Literacy Volunteers On the Green at 354-0185.

    Please call if you are interested in joining a class.

    If you would like to become a tutor, the next Tutor Training session is March 25, 26, 27 from 6 to 9pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall in New Milford.
