The annual bulky waste days that have been offered Spring and Fall at the Town Garage had to be discontinued this year due to the large increase the garbage company wanted to charge for these events. Information may be found on this site at the Solid waste and Recycling page as to how to dispose of bulky waste and construction debris.

There will be a town meeting held at the Warren Town Hall on Thursday, May 18, 2006. The agenda will include a vote on the proposed 2006-2007 town budget, a vote to authorize the purchase of a new truck for the Highway Department, the election of various offices in town government and any other business that may legally be brought before this meeting.
There will be a public hearing for the proposed Warren Town Budget for fiscal year 2006-2007 at the Town Hall on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 8:00 p.m.
A referendum vote of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in meetings of the Regional School District No. 6, comprising the Towns of Warren, Morris and Goshen, Connecticut, will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the following voting places:
(a) for those electors and citizens qualified to vote in the Town of Goshen, at Camp Cochipanee, 291 Beach Street, Goshen, CT.
(b) for those electors and citizens qualified to vote in the Town of Morris, at the Morris Community Hall, 3 East Street, Morris, CT.
(c) for those electors and citizens qualified to vote in the Town of Warren, at the Town Hall, 7 Sackett Hill Road, Warren, CT.
upon the following question:
Shall the Regional School District No. 6 budget for the fiscal year 2006-2007 in the amount of $15,589,252 be approved?
Voters wishing to accept said proposed budget shall vote “yes” and those wishing to reject said proposed budget shall vote “no”.
Electors and citizens qualified to vote in more than one town in the District may only vote once on the question.

Notice is hereby given to persons legally entitled to vote thereat, that the district budget meeting for Regional School District No. 6 will be held at Wamogo Regional High School on May 1, 2006, at 8:00 p.m., in the James M. Eisenhaure Auditorium. The meeting will be adjourned to a referendum vote to take place on May 2, 2006.
Copies of the proposed budget are available at the town clerk’s office in the Towns of Warren, Morris and Goshen.
